Bob has been working with students at Kansas State University since 1972, developing leaders and believing in the next generation. Bob has extensive experience interacting with international student leaders both at K-State and overseas. Bob has been deeply involved in the growth of FOCUS from its inception. He is married to Sandie and is father to Dee Anne, David, and Jessica. He and Sandie have two grandchildren.
Elliot is an associate attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy, Attorneys at Law, at the firm's Tulsa, Oklahoma office. His practice focuses on business and commercial litigation. Before attending law school Elliot spent two years teaching English in China. Elliot, his wife, Erin, and their sons, James and Oliver, live just outside Tulsa, where they enjoy gardening, playing at the park, and elaborate weekend breakfasts.
As the Founder and President of FOCUS International, Inc. John has had the privilege of working with college and university students, and those who lead them, for almost forty years. He has talked with students and those who invest in them in more than thirty countries and is committed to undergirding the work of those who have a heart to help students wherever they are. He is committed to recruit and train students from every nation to transform society wherever they are. John and his wife, Peggy, are the parents of David and Candace and have five grandchildren.
Peggy is an integral part of the founding of FOCUS as she encouraged her husband John to always lead with integrity. Before FOCUS was founded, she worked as a business administrator in both the legal and medical fields. This experience has proved to be invaluable in her role as the financial administrator and risk manager at FOCUS. Some of her greatest joys are found in hosting people in her home and being the mother of David and Candace and grandmother to five grandchildren.
Dr. Arlen Honts, previously the Dean of the School of Business at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, is now Professor of Business Administration, teaching a variety of management courses, and Chairman of the Division of Business and Information Technology at Friends University. He also has served on the boards of a variety of organizations. Arlen attends his church regularly with his wife Stacy and their children, Anna Laura, Emma, and Colin.
Stacy Mondt, wife of Joe and mother of Mark Joseph, Mercy and Micah loves being a busy housewife. Stacy worked with students at Wichita State University from 1991 to 1995. She has been a valuable member of the FOCUS family from its inception and is actively involved in her church in Wichita, Kansas.
Josh works as the HR Manager for Capital III, a management holding company of six small businesses in Wichita, Kansas. Josh served as a participant in FOCUS projects while a student and received FOCUS teams while living in North Africa for two years. He and his wife, Kim, volunteer each year to help train students for their FOCUS projects. They are the proud parents of Luke.
Jon serves as the state director of evangelism and collegiate ministry for Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists. He and his wife lived in Africa for 28 years, developing leaders and encouraging positive community reform in a variety of regions and contexts. Jon is married to Priscilla and they have two children and six grandchildren.
Brett has been working with collegiate students at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln since 1972. He has been involved in the vision of FOCUS since its inception. Brett's ability to think systematically and strategically has been an invaluable asset to FOCUS. Brett and his wife, Mary, have two daughters, Laura and Jennifer, as well as five grandchildren.
